"My cat needs some surgery and I'm trying my hardest to come up with the money to save him, but I'm having a hard time. His name is Milo he is a year old and he is my best friend and it is hard to think about losing him. On 12/5/17 Milo went for a walk in the woods and did not come right back like he always does. We looked and looked for him then on 12/9/17 he came home. I could tell something was wrong so I have taken him to two vets. He has one back foot that needs amputated and he has 3 broken bones his hip and his femur and his other foot on the back. He is a strong cat. I just don't want to lose my best friend. I only want the best for him, thanks."

"This has been such a stressful time for my senior, disabled, Marine veteran, friend. He did his very best to stay upbeat and when he realized he wasn't, he would stop in his tracks and pray. When I informed him that I was reaching out to my friends and strangers, he took the typical approach that any Marine would do...cry and say, God bless them all! So with that...thank you so much for your contribution towards Tiana's surgery and for letting her dad know that there are plenty of animal lovers in this world who help each other in times of need."
"I just am trying to find the funds at this point to get his xrays done on his broken hind leg...This is such a blessing. I appreciate this help."
Baxter, a service dog, became ill and had to stay at the veterinary clinic for several days. Because of donations made to Shakespeare Animal Fund, Baxter's treatment was more affordable for his owner and friend.
Their injuries include broken bones and horrible injuries from being hit by cars or attacked by other animals. They have blockages that will kill them, unborn puppies and kittens they can’t deliver, heartworm and other illnesses that make it impossible to breathe, skin irritations that cause them to rip off their skin, and much more. Their owners, often elderly, usually live on small fixed incomes and after their food and medicine have no money to help their suffering pets. And they often do without their own food and medicine to try to help their pets, many times their only “family.”
We step in and help. With hundreds of calls and emails every month we have to turn down so many. Please help us help more people and their animals, and stop the suffering!
