Laura's Cat

Dear Shakespeare Animal Fund,

My name is Laura, my husband is Jim. Recently we contacted your organization concerning our Cat, he was 23 years old and not doing well. We were terrified it was time to put him down. Your organization was gracious enough to help us with the vet bill, we took him over to Dr. Pierce in Reno...

The Doctor told us it was time to put him down. It broke our heart after all those years but he was put to sleep.

My husband is 75 years old and I have Multiple Sclerosis, we live on Social Security for our only income. We were so worried about what to do for our Kitty. As hard as it was to put him down, we would like to thank you for your help financially at that time. Your organization was a God send to us and we truly appreciate your help. If there was one wish we had, of course, is our kitty would still be with us. Thanks you again from the bottom of our heart!

We can easily pay $5 for a fancy cup of coffee these days. And if you would consider giving only $5 a month (the price of that cup of coffee) over the course of a year it would get one wounded or suffering animal to the vet. That’s spectacular, for only $5 monthly.
