Dear Jennifer,
Robby Robinson's dog, Bunji, needed a perianal tumor removed. Robby is 81, works in sales but was currently unemployed.
Everything he and his wife had went towards her cancer therapy 7 years ago.
She died in 2001. Bunji was his wife's dog, which she had purchased as a puppy shortly before she was diagnosed with cancer.
Robby was very thankful for the financial help Shakespeare Animal Fund provided to him.
I felt that Mr. Robinson's and Bunji's was a particularly worthy cause.
In my opinion he is a gentleman of quiet dignity who did not ask for help or any special consideration.
I pointed him in the direction of the Shakespeare Animal Fund to help him finance Bunji's care.
He arrived on time for his appointments, took very good care of Bunji post operatively and was a pleasure to work for.
I thought his case might be a good depiction of the good that the Shakespeare Animal Fund can do.
Respectfully submitted,
T. J. Dose DVM
