Dear SAF:

I want to thank you so much for your assistance. I was beside myself today when I realized that my cat, Emmy Lou, was very sick and I had no money for a vet.

As we thought, she had swallowed something and the vet at Klaich Veterinary Hospital said the x-rays showed that her intestines were cut up and distended and even if I told him that I had 'more money than God and could afford any necessary treatment, she would have less that 50% chance of survival', so my boyfriend and I agreed to have her put to sleep.

It nearly killed us to leave there without her and my other cat, Chong (she was thought to be a boy when she was named) misses her already, and wonders why we left with her but didn't return with her. I know that in time we will be ok but for now Emmy Lou is very missed.
